Huckabee 2008 Voter Iowa: Ron Paul's Time Has Come

Charlotte Coppess, 57, voted for Mike Huckabee, the winner, in the 2008 Iowa caucuses. Mr. Paul held no interest for her then. But she was curious to hear what he had to say here. And she says:
“I think Ron Paul is a man whose time has come,”
At this point in the Republican race it still looks like a Wallmart with potential supporters moving their shopping carts around the supermarkt deciding on which brand to choose.

For weeks people were still sad about the fact that Mike Huckabee was not running and looking for the ideal Huckabee-look-alike. Eventually people will off course wake up from this slumber and realize that there are only two real candidates in the running: Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.

Every 2008 Huckabee supporter will have to face this reality at some point. The sooner the better.

Ron Paul has:

Strong endorsements by mainstream Iowa Republicans

Strong polling:
"Obama and Paul would split the vote right down the middle if they were to run against each other in 2012."

Strongest get-out-the-vote effort in Iowa, according to seasoned Campaign director Drew Ivers:
“among the most sophisticated I have ever witnessed.”

So, if you are in Iowa, make sure to register for the Iowa Straw poll in Ames, bus transportation will be provided from your county!

Allthough formulated in a negative way, my analysis is confirmed even by those who don't support Ron Paul, just read Anthony Dalke's blogpost who quotes Huckabee
“Most of these people are friends of mine,” he told POLITICO. “I like them all. I want to see how they play things out. I’m more interested in letting that happen than getting involved.”
and from there concludes:
"However, with Huckabee’s massive influence staying on the set of his show and not on the ground in the Hawkeye State, the SoCon vote will likely remain scattered."
No doubt, Huckabee supporters remember Huckabee's supertuesday speech: "It's a two man race and we are in it....
